The President of the West-Central Africa Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church,Pastor Robert Osei-Bonsu, has reaffirmed the church’s commitment to Ghana’s development.
Speaking at the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Ashanti Central Ghana Conference of the SDA church, Pastor Osei-Bonsu emphasized the importance of partnership with the government to promote the country’s growth.
“The Adventist Church has established several institutions in Ghana, including education centers, health facilities, and hospitals, providing quality healthcare services to communities,” pastor Bonsu stated.
“Through our development arm, ADRA, the church has also impacted lives in agriculture, water, and sanitation projects,”he indicated.
Mr. Jonathan Owusu, President of the Ashanti Central Ghana Conference, appealed to the government to support the church’s Senior High School at Kenyase and the College of Education at Agona in the Ashanti Region.
Dr. Frank Amoakohene, representing President John Dramani Mahama, commended the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s developmental initiatives and reiterated the government’s commitment to partnering with the church to develop the country.
