The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to launch a nationwide membership drive to rejuvenate its grassroots and expand its membership base.
This initiative aims to strengthen the party’s position after its defeat in the 2024 general elections.
The party will conduct a mass registration exercise across the country, engaging with potential supporters and floating voters through outreach programs and strategic activities.
According to General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Koduah, a strong membership base is crucial for electoral success.
Despite the party’s defeat, the NPP plans to embark on a nationwide thank-you tour to express gratitude to its supporters.
Speaking to the media,Koduah cautioned party members, especially communicators, against discussing the 2024 election defeat report led by Professor Mike Ocquaye before the National Council’s approval, adding that the report’s findings will be addressed once officially approved.
The membership drive is a key step in the party’s efforts to rebuild and strengthen its position for future elections.
