Sofoase Chief Charges Newly Installed Chiefs to Prioritize Community Development

The Chief of Sofoase and Tuntuhene of Essumaja Traditional Council, Odiatuo Obrempong Akwasi Ahuoyaa Ababio, has urged newly installed divisional sub-chiefs of the Sofoase/Domeabra/Twindurase communities under the Essumaja Traditional Council to prioritize development of the communities.

On May 1, 2025, Obrempong Akwasi Ahuoyaa Ababio installed five divisional sub-chiefs and two queen mothers to help manage the affairs of the communities.

The newly installed divisional sub-chiefs include: Nana Agyenim Boateng (Kurontihene), Nana Kwame Amoah (Gyaasehene), Nana Akwasi Ampomah Meah (Twafohene), Nana Kofi Darko Di-Asempa (Sompahene), Nana Akwasi Badu Mpent3mmua (Abrafourhene), Nana Afia Saamah (Twafohemaa),Nana Ama Nyarko (Dwantoahemaa), Ohene Kyeame Nana Frimpong Manso Adakabede3

Obrempong Akwasi Ahuoyaa Ababio emphasized the importance of development in improving the lives of community members, and therefore urged the chiefs to prioritize community needs and welfare, avoid selfishness, and support development initiatives

The Sofase Chief lamented on challenges facing the community, which includes poor security system, poor road network, etc.

He called on government to support the traditional leadership’s developmental initiatives.

The chiefs expressed gratitude to God Almighty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Odeneho Okyere Kusi Ntramah, Esumaja Manhene, and Obrempong Akwasi Ahuoyaa Ababio for their installation.

They pledged to support community development and improve living standards.

By prioritizing community development, the newly installed chiefs can drive positive change and improve the lives of community members.
