PRESS RELEASE

The Gonjaland Youth Association (GLYA) has taken note of the rising concerns and public sentiments expressed by sections of the youth in Bole regarding the recent nomination of a Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Bole Municipality.
We recognize the genuine passion and commitment of our youth to the development and future of Bole. However, we respectfully urge all concerned individuals, particularly the youth, to remain calm and measured in their actions during this period.
As an association committed to peace, development, and unity in Gonjaland, we are currently engaging all relevant stakeholders, including traditional authorities, political leaders, and government officials, to ensure that the matter is resolved amicably and in the best interest of Bole.
We appeal to our youth to resist any urge to resort to confrontational actions that could jeopardize
the peace and unity of our municipality.
We commend the efforts of all individuals and groups who are working behind the scenes to address the concerns constructively.
GLYA remains committed to advocating for fairness, transparency, and the well-being of our people. Let us stand together in peace as we work toward a resolution that reflects the collective progress of Bole.

AL-HASSAN BABA DARISON
