The Bole Municipal Assembly has confirmed President John Dramani Mahama’s nominee for the position of Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr. Mahmoud.

In a vote held on Monday, 12 May 2025, at Bole Municipal Assembly, Mr. Mahmoud secured 34 votes in favour and 5 against, comfortably surpassing the required threshold for confirmation.

The confirmation reflects the confidence the assembly members have in his leadership and ability to drive development within the municipality.

Following the endorsement, stakeholders and residents have been urged to rally behind the new MCE to ensure progress and unity in the Bole Municipality.

Mr. Mahmoud is expected to officially assume office in the coming days.
