The Nkosuohene of Nyankyerenease Traditional Council in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region, Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanini Barima has handed over GHS50,000 to the Kyebi community in the Offinso South Municipality also in the Ashanti Region.
In a warm ceremony attended by community leaders, traditional officials, and health workers, businessmen and philanthropists, Nana Adu Gyamfi presented the money in a form of cheque to the Kyebi Community Development Committee on Sunday November 2, 2025, with Nana Kofi Asamoah receiving it on the committee’s behalf.

The funds is expected to lay the foundation for a new Chip Compound, a much‑needed health facility that promises to improve access to primary care for residents and surrounding villages.
According to residents, the town has lacked a permanent clinic for years, forcing residents to travel long distances for basic services.

The Chip Compound will house a maternity wing, a pharmacy, and a laboratory.
Nana Adu Gyamfi during the presentation called on authorities to use the GHS 50,000 to finance site preparation, and the first phase of construction, pledging additional support once the project reaches key milestones.

“This is a game‑changer for us. Our mothers will no longer have to give birth on the road,” some residents said.
“Nana Adu Gyamfi’s generosity reminds us that giving back is a communal responsibility,” they added.

Nana Adu Gyamfi, a native of the municipality and successful entrepreneur in the hospitality sector, has a history of supporting education and health initiatives across the Ashanti Region and beyond.
His recent appointment as Board Chairman of the Ashanti Regional Rugby Association underscores his commitment to sports development.

The Kyebi Community Development Committee welcomes further contributions such as monetary, material, or volunteer to ensure the Chip Compound becomes a fully operational health hub.
