The chief of Krofrom, a suburb of Tepa in the Ahafo Ano North Municipality of the Ashanti Region, Dr. Nana Kofi Nyampong, has called on Ghanaian youth to remain loyal, disciplined, and committed in all their endeavours to help build a better society.

He made the call during a humanitarian gesture in which he donated assorted items to widows, orphans, physically challenged persons, and the aged in his community. The items included foodstuffs, live hens, books, pens, pencils, mathematical sets, and clothing.

According to Nana Nyampong, loyalty is a key value that guides personal growth and national development. He noted that many young people today are talented and energetic but often lack commitment and faithfulness to their goals, leaders, and communities.
“The youth are the backbone of the nation. If they cultivate loyalty, respect, and hard work, they will not only succeed in life but also contribute meaningfully to the development of Ghana,” he said.

Dr. Nana Nyampong explained that his donation exercise was part of his commitment to improving the welfare of the vulnerable in Krofrom and encouraging a culture of compassion and communal support. He urged those who have been blessed with resources to support the needy, especially in difficult economic times.

Beneficiaries of the donation expressed their gratitude to the chief for his kindness and leadership, describing the gesture as timely and impactful. Some community members also praised Nana Nyankopong for leading by example and promoting unity and social responsibility.
The event was attended by elders of the community and residents, who commended the chief for his continued efforts toward the social and moral development of Krofrom.
