Women in Agogo and surrounding communities in the Ashanti Akim North Constituency are set to benefit from a free vocational training programme spearheaded by Williams Business Consult, an initiative aimed at equipping women with practical skills to enhance their economic independence.
The programme, led by Mr. Williams Amoako, Chief Executive Officer of Williams Business Consult, seeks to empower women with employable and entrepreneurial skills that will enable them to establish sustainable livelihoods and contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of their communities.
According to Mr. Amoako, the initiative forms part of the organisation’s broader commitment to community development and women’s empowerment. He emphasized that empowering women through vocational training not only improves household incomes but also strengthens local economies.
The event is scheduled to take place on February 24, 2026, at the CAC Church, Agogo. Women from Agogo and neighboring communities across the Ashanti Akim North Constituency are expected to participate in the programme.
The Queen Mother of Asante Akim Agogo, Nana Juaben Afrakoma Serwaa Kusi Oboadum, has been invited as the Special Guest of Honour. Her presence is anticipated to underscore the importance of women’s empowerment initiatives within the traditional area and inspire participants to take full advantage of the opportunity.
Organizers have indicated that the training will focus on practical, hands-on learning designed to equip beneficiaries with skills that can translate into income-generating ventures.
