Richard Quaye Foundation Donates GHS500,000 to Adum Fire Victims

A generous donation of GHS500,000 has been made to the Adum fire victims by the Richard Quaye Foundation.

Founded and led by Richard Nii Armah Quaye, the foundation donated the money to the victims on April 4,2025.

The foundation also added 1,000 bags of cement to help in the rebuilding of the market.

This significant contribution aims to provide financial assistance and relief to those affected by the disaster.

Addressing traders and community members, the founder of the foundation, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to restore the market and ensure traders can resume business.

Richard Nii Armah Quaye also highlighted the need for improved safety measures to prevent future incidents.

The visit comes amid growing concerns over fire outbreaks in market centers, which have left many traders struggling to recover their losses.

The devastating fire which occurred on Friday March, 21, 2025 destroyed over 1000 shops destroying items worth millions of Ghana Cedis.

The affected traders welcomed the philanthropist and his team with their support, expressing hope that the intervention would help them rebuild their businesses.
