
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, has embarked on a working tour to inspect a number of ongoing development projects within the municipality aimed at improving education and healthcare infrastructure for residents.
The inspection exercise formed part of the MCE’s commitment to ensuring that projects being undertaken across the municipality are executed according to schedule and completed on time for the benefit of the people.

During the tour, the MCE visited several project sites including the Kojina-Essakrom CHPS Compound, the Kwasi Addaikrom Kindergarten block, the Pɛwodeɛ classroom block, the Keteboi CHPS Compound, the Nyame Nnae three-unit classroom block, the Aboduam six-unit classroom block, as well as the ongoing maternity block project at the Sefwi Wiawso Government Hospital.
Speaking after the inspection, Honourable Dominic Gyasi expressed satisfaction with the progress of work at some of the project sites and reiterated his commitment to ensuring that all developmental projects within the municipality are completed smoothly and efficiently to improve the living conditions of residents.

He emphasized that the projects, particularly those in the education and health sectors, are critical to the socio-economic development of the municipality and would greatly enhance access to quality services for the people.
The MCE also urged contractors working on the various projects to expedite work and adhere strictly to timelines to ensure the early completion and handing over of the facilities for public use.
According to him, the Assembly remains committed to monitoring all ongoing projects to guarantee quality work and value for money.
