
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, has reaffirmed his commitment to accelerating development across the municipality, describing the welfare and progress of residents as his administration’s top priority.
According to the MCE, his administration remains focused on improving road infrastructure, education, healthcare, sanitation, agriculture and other social interventions aimed at transforming lives and boosting economic activities within the municipality.
Hon. Gyasi indicated that the Assembly is engaging traditional authorities, assembly members, youth groups and other stakeholders to ensure inclusive development planning that reflects the needs of the people. He stressed that no community would be left behind in the municipality’s development agenda.
Speaking on some ongoing initiatives, the MCE highlighted efforts by the Assembly to improve feeder roads, rehabilitate abandoned projects, expand educational infrastructure and enhance healthcare delivery in various communities. He noted that the Assembly is also prioritising market development, water projects and sanitation improvement to promote better living conditions.
Hon. Dominic Gyasi further assured residents that the Assembly would continue to pursue strategic partnerships and government support to fast-track development projects across the municipality.
He therefore called on residents to support the Assembly’s initiatives and contribute towards the growth and transformation of the municipality.
The MCE reiterated that transparency, accountability and community engagement would remain key pillars of his administration as efforts continue to position Sefwi Wiawso among the fast-developing municipalities in the country.
