Ntonso St Anthony Co-operative Credit Union Celebrates 10th Anniversary and 5th AGM

The Ntonso St Anthony Co-operative Credit Union Limited marked its 10th anniversary and 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 1, 2025, at the Ntonso Central Seventh Day Adventists’ Church.

The event highlighted the institution’s growth and commitment to customer satisfaction.

The Ashanti Regional Board Chairman, Honourable Kwarteng Amaniampong, attributed the institution’s financial growth in 2024 to the adoption of digital technology.

He noted that the digital technology has improved transaction convenience and reduced risks associated with carrying large amounts of money.

He further indicated that the initiative has also enhanced customer experience and increased accessibility to financial services.

Honourable Amaniampong outlined the institution’s vision to increase its total assets to at least 30 million Ghana Cedis within the next two years, aiming to become a large-category credit union.

The Manager, Godfrey Opoku, provided financial guidance to loan seekers, emphasizing the importance of understanding interest rates and aligning loan

purposes with financial goals

Customers expressed gratitude for the institution’s support and commitment to their needs. Some were awarded appliances, including refrigerators, television sets, and microwaves, for their loyalty.

The Ntonso St Anthony Co-operative Credit Union’s celebration marked a significant milestone in its journey, highlighting its dedication to customer satisfaction and financial growth.
