Hon. Patricia Pearl Ankrah has officially assumed her role as Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Afigya Kwabre South Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti Region.
After receiving her handover note, Ankrah pledged to prioritize development and unity in the district.
Ankrah was elected by assembly members with an overwhelming 98% of the vote, securing 36 votes.
She has promised to work closely with Hon. Damata Ama Appianimaa Salam, the Member of Parliament, to implement the President’s agenda and drive progress in the municipality.
Ankrah’s leadership is expected to yield positive outcomes for the district and Ghana as a whole.
She highlighted on initiatives that promote unity and development, by working with the Member of Parliament and other stakeholders to achieve development goals.
The Member of Parliament congratulated Ankrah on her victory, highlighting the significance of the Affirmative Action Bill in promoting women’s participation in governance.
She urged residents to support their leadership team, comprising two women, to achieve development goals.
With her leadership, Ankrah is poised to lead the Afigya Kwabre South Municipal Assembly towards a brighter future, focusing on development and unity.
Her commitment to collaboration and progress is expected to benefit the district and its residents.
