2020/21 GPL Best Player Receives Spiritual Blessings from Apostle Nana Adu Gyamfi  

A former Hearts of Oak midfielder and 2020/21 Ghana Premier League (GPL) Best Player, Salifu Ibrahim, “Di Maria,” has received spiritual blessings from Apostle Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barima Kese, Founder and Leader of Shamor International Church at Akrofrom-Kodie in the Afigya Kwabre South Municipality of the Ashanti Region in a heart-warming encounter that highlighted gratitude, faith, and mutual respect.

The prayer of blessings follow “Di Maria’s” courtesy visit with his beautiful girlfriend to the Nyankyerenease Nkosuohene’s office at Akrofrom.

The young midfielder in his speech, revealed that he has ecounted several videos on various social media platforms with the CEO’s contributions towards Ghana’s development in the area of education, healthcare, sports, etc, and impacting the lives of the vulnerable in the society.

During the visit, Salifu Ibrahim presented Apostle Nana Adu Gyamfi with a customized jersey of his current club as a token of appreciation for the prayers, guidance, and moral support he has received throughout his football journey.

The Apostle, in turn, offered prayers and words of encouragement, calling for divine protection, consistency, and continued success in the player’s career.

Salifu Ibrahim, who rose to prominence during his time at Accra Hearts of Oak as a dynamic and disciplined midfielder, was instrumental in the club’s domestic dominance during the 2020/21 season, a campaign that earned him the prestigious GPL Best Player award.

The gesture reflects the player’s humility and acknowledgment of the role faith has played in his rise, as he continues to build his career’s and inspire young footballers across the country.

Salifu joined Hearts of Oak from 2020-2024, and he was elected the best player for the 2020/21 GPL season, after an impressive run that helped Hearts of Oak win the league

Ibrahim who recently switched nationality from Ghana to Bennin is currently paying for FC Drita in the Football Superleague of Kosovo.
