The former GNPC boss, Dr. K. K. Sarpong has urged delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to vote for Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong in the upcoming party race slated for January 31,2026, describing him as a loyal, dependable, and committed individual.
Dr. Sarpong made the call during an interview on OTEC FM’s Dwabrem afternoon show, hosted by Dok. Cash. Speaking on the programme, he emphasized that loyalty remains one of the most important qualities needed in party leadership, especially at a critical time for the NPP.
According to Dr. K. K. Sarpong, the former Assin Central Member of Parliament has consistently demonstrated faithfulness to the party and its values, standing firm through both challenging and successful periods. He noted that such consistency and dedication should be rewarded by delegates when they cast their votes.
“Loyalty is not something you buy; it is proven over time,” Dr. Sarpong stated, adding that Kennedy’s track record within the party makes him a reliable choice for delegates seeking unity and progress.
The discussion on Dwabrem also focused on party unity, grassroots mobilisation, and the need for leaders who place the collective interest of the NPP above personal ambition.
Dok. Cash commended the contribution, describing the conversation as timely and relevant ahead of the internal contest.
Dr. K. K. Sarpong concluded by encouraging delegates to vote wisely and support candidates whose loyalty and commitment to the party are unquestionable.
