The National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency organizer for Yapei Kusawgu has officially endorsed the pairing of Finance Minister Cassiel Ato Forson and Energy Minister John Jinapor as the party’s presidential candidate and running mate for the 2028 elections.
The organizer highlighted the duo’s impressive records—Ato Forson’s adept handling of the country’s economic challenges and Jinapor’s achievements in the energy sector—as key reasons for his support.
This endorsement further fuels speculation around the NDC’s presidential race, with prominent names like National Chairman Johnson Aseidu Nketia, Chief of Staff Hon Julius Debra, and Ato Forson himself emerging in social media discussions.
The organizer also called on the Damongo Constituency MP and former Lands and Natural Resources Minister to join the NDC, stressing the importance of securing the Yapei Kusawgu seat in the upcoming elections.
