A New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant, Hon. Bryan Acheampong has pledged to lead the party with discipline and sanity if elected as its flagbearer.
He made this commitment during a joint meeting with delegates of Manso Nkwanta and Adubia as part of his second face-to-face tour of the Ashanti Region.
Addressing the delegates, Bryan emphasized the need for calm, unity and responsible leadership within the party, particularly as the NPP prepares for the crucial 2028 general elections. He stated that discipline at all levels of the party remains key to sustaining the NPP’s core values and strengthening its appeal to the wider Ghanaian electorate.
According to him, political ambition must be guided by maturity and sound judgment, noting that internal divisions and indiscipline could weaken the party’s chances in the upcoming elections.
“I believe leadership must be anchored on sanity, respect and discipline. If given the opportunity to lead as flagbearer, I will ensure these values guide every decision and action within the party,” he told the delegates.
Bryan used the meeting to interact directly with party delegates, listen to their concerns and outline his vision for a united and forward-looking NPP.
He encouraged party members to remain focused on the larger goal of retaining political power and delivering development to Ghanaians.
The Ashanti Region tour forms part of Bryan’s ongoing nationwide engagement with delegates as the party gears up for its presidential primaries.
