
The 1997 Year Group of Duase M/A Basic School has demonstrated its continued commitment to the development of their alma mater by donating a projector to the school during the official launch of its Alumni Association.

The presentation was led by the group’s chairman, Mr. Opoku Afriyie Gabriel, who emphasized the importance of supporting education through modern learning tools. He noted that the donation forms part of the group’s broader efforts to enhance teaching and learning in the school.

This latest contribution comes just a few months after the group donated two desktop computers to the school during their homecoming program, further highlighting their dedication to improving ICT education for current students.

Receiving the item on behalf of the school, the Headmistress, Mrs. Dorcas Owusu Aboraa, expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the 1997 Year Group for their continuous support. She described the gesture as timely and impactful, noting that the projector will greatly enhance teaching and learning by making lessons more interactive and engaging.

She further commended the group for setting a shining example of alumni responsibility and encouraged other year groups to emulate their efforts in supporting the school’s development. Mrs. Aboraa assured the donors that the equipment would be put to good use for the benefit of both teachers and students.

School authorities and members of the newly inaugurated Alumni Association expressed profound gratitude to the 1997 Year Group for their generosity and foresight. They noted that the projector will significantly aid teachers in delivering interactive lessons and improve students’ overall learning experience.
