OTEC FM Appoints Michael Addai-Dwomoh as General Manager

A Kumasi based media giants, OTEC FM has appointed seasoned business and media executive, Mr. Addai-Dwomoh Michael, as its new General Manager, marking a significant step in the station’s drive to strengthen its leadership and expand its influence in Ghana’s media industry.

Mr. Addai-Dwomoh brings to the role a wealth of experience in strategic management, marketing, sales, digital media, and business development. Before his appointment, he served in several key leadership positions at OTEC FM, including Head of Marketing, Sales and Digital Media, as well as Marketing Executive.

During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in enhancing the station’s brand visibility, increasing revenue, expanding its digital presence, and building strong relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders. His contributions have been instrumental in the station’s growth and competitive positioning.

Beyond OTEC FM, Mr. Addai-Dwomoh has served as a Marketing Consultant for various organisations, providing strategic business and marketing solutions. He has also distinguished himself as a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK) Tutor, mentoring marketing professionals in strategic and digital marketing.

Academically, Mr. Addai-Dwomoh possesses an impressive blend of qualifications in business, finance, and marketing. He is expected to complete a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in September 2026. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from the University of Ghana, Legon.

His professional credentials include a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Marketing, a Diploma in Professional Marketing, and a Certificate in Professional Marketing, all awarded by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK). He also holds a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute in Ireland.

Mr. Addai-Dwomoh earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with Philosophy and Classics from the University of Ghana, Legon. He completed his secondary education at Armed Forces Senior High Technical School, where he pursued Business.

His appointment is expected to further position OTEC FM for sustained growth, innovation, and excellence in broadcasting while strengthening the station’s commitment to delivering quality content and exceptional service to its audience and stakeholders.
