The Ashanti Region is abuzz with excitement as 17 schools converge for the 2nd edition of the Basic Schools Assessment Contest (B.S.A.C.).
The competition promises to be an electrifying display of talent, teamwork, and academic prowess.
The best schools in the Ashanti Region have been selected to compete in the prestigious tournament as this year’s second edition commences with the round of 16 on June 19,2025 at the GNAT HALL Amakom,Kumasi.
The schools include: Reverence Preparatory School, Lofty Pacesetters School Complex, Adom Educational Complex, Levites Academy, Konadu Educational Complex, O. A. Legacy International School, Jachie Stem Academy, Eldia Montessori School, New Life Christian Academy, SSNIT Presbyterian Model School, Lordina International School, Moreag Montessori, Queen Namies Montessori, Unique Educational Complex, Greenlight Educational Complex, and Glitters Star Academy.
According to organizers, three schools will be eliminated at the end of the round 16, with 14 schools proceeding to the next stage.
The competition will feature a range of events, including quizzes, debates, and critical thinking assessment exam.
The winning school will be crowned the ultimate champion and take home the coveted trophy together with other learning materials to enhance quality education for children.
The contest which is organized by Perfect Star Media Production in collaboration with Perfect Grade Publications and Stationery is anticipated to provide a platform for students to showcase their skills and talents.
Speaking to the media, Pastor Philip Sarpong,CEO of Perfect Star Media Production and brain behind the contest indicated that the tournament will foster healthy competition among schools, promoting academic excellence and teamwork.
The winning school will bring pride and recognition to their institution and the region.
“This competition is an excellent opportunity for our students to demonstrate their abilities and learn from each other. We are excited to see which school will emerge victorious,” a participating school’s administrator said.
The B.S.A.C. is set to be an unforgettable experience, showcasing the best of Ashanti Region’s basic schools.
