“Forgive Us Our Sins and Project the NPP” — COKA appeals to Ashanti media

The Ashanti Regional Chairman-elect of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, has appealed to journalists in Kumasi to help project the party and its activities.

He made the appeal during a “Meet the Press” dinner with members of the Kumasi media fraternity, where he acknowledged the important role of the media in shaping public opinion and promoting national development.

COKA urged journalists to give the NPP fair coverage and help communicate the party’s policies, programmes and achievements to the public.

“Forgive us our sins and project the NPP,” he pleaded, while calling for stronger collaboration between the party and the media.

According to him, the media remains a critical partner in the NPP’s efforts to reconnect with Ghanaians and strengthen its presence in the Ashanti Region.

The Chairman-elect also expressed his readiness to maintain a cordial relationship with journalists and ensure regular engagement between the party and the media.

He said the dinner was part of efforts to foster a better working relationship with the media and create an avenue for open and constructive engagement on issues affecting the NPP and the country.

COKA further called on journalists to continue holding political leaders accountable while giving attention to issues that contribute to the development of the region and Ghana as a whole.
