An Aspiring Ashanti Regional Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Osei Richmond, has picked number four on the ballot paper as the party prepares to elect new regional executives to steer its affairs in the Ashanti Region.

Mr. Richmond picked the number during the vetting and balloting process for aspirants contesting various positions in the party’s upcoming regional executive elections.

The exercise forms part of the NDC’s internal electoral processes aimed at selecting leaders who will manage the party’s organisational structures, coordinate grassroots activities and strengthen its presence across the region.

The Ashanti Regional Organiser position is considered an important role within the party’s regional administration, with responsibilities that include mobilising party members, coordinating activities at the constituency and branch levels, and helping implement decisions taken by the party’s leadership.

By picking number four on the ballot paper, Mr. Richmond has secured his position on the ballot ahead of the elections, where delegates will have the opportunity to choose their preferred candidates for the various regional executive positions.

The regional elections are expected to shape the party’s leadership and organisational direction in the Ashanti Region as it works to maintain unity among members and strengthen its structures ahead of future political engagements.

The vetting and balloting exercise also provides an opportunity for aspirants to complete the necessary processes before campaigning for support from delegates.

Mr. Richmond is among the aspirants seeking to occupy the regional organiser position, which plays a key role in grassroots mobilisation and the coordination of party activities throughout the region.
