SINOTRUK Ghana has opened a new spare parts shop at Kotwi, along the Obuasi–Kumasi Road in the Ashanti Region, as part of efforts to bring genuine spare parts closer to customers and improve after-sales services.
The new facility is expected to serve vehicle owners, transport operators, mechanics and other customers within Kumasi and surrounding communities, while reducing the difficulties associated with accessing genuine SINOTRUK spare parts.
The shop was officially opened during a ceremony attended by representatives of the company, customers, transport operators, mechanics and other stakeholders.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Representative of SINOTRUK Ghana, Mr. Hao Ming, said the establishment of the new outlet demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting its customers and strengthening its presence in Ghana.
He said the company would continue to invest in its operations and services to ensure that customers have access to quality and reliable spare parts for their vehicles.
Mr. Hao Ming also announced plans by SINOTRUK Ghana to provide free training in spare parts installation and related technical skills for Ghanaian youth.
According to him, the training programme is aimed at equipping young people with practical skills that could enable them to secure employment or establish their own businesses in the automotive sector.
He noted that beyond selling vehicles and spare parts, SINOTRUK Ghana is interested in contributing to skills development and creating economic opportunities for the Ghanaian youth.
The new spare parts shop at Kotwi is therefore expected to play an important role in improving access to genuine parts and strengthening technical support for SINOTRUK customers in Kumasi and other parts of the Ashanti Region.
SINOTRUK Ghana has been operating in the Ghanaian market for about 25 years, building a customer base through its heavy-duty trucks and related automotive products and services.
The company says its continued expansion of spare parts outlets and customer support services forms part of its broader commitment to providing reliable solutions to Ghana’s transport and haulage industry.
Customers and industry players who attended the opening welcomed the development, saying the availability of genuine spare parts within easier reach would help improve vehicle maintenance and reduce downtime for truck operators.
The Kotwi outlet is expected to serve as an important service point for customers along the Obuasi–Kumasi corridor and beyond.
