An aspiring Ashanti Regional Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Reagan Fynn, says the party needs dedicated and committed individuals who can help it retain power in the 2028 general elections.
He made the remarks when he submitted his nomination form at the NDC Ashanti Regional Office, where he formally expressed his intention to contest for the regional organiser position.
Mr. Fynn, who is the current Ashanti Regional Director of the National Service Authority (NSA), believes that commitment, hard work and effective grassroots mobilisation will be essential to the party’s efforts to maintain its hold on government beyond the 2028 elections.
He stressed the need for party members who are willing to dedicate their time and energy to strengthening the NDC’s structures and mobilising supporters across the region.
According to him, building a strong party requires people who understand the needs of members at the grassroots level and are prepared to work towards achieving the party’s collective objectives.
The position of Ashanti Regional Organiser is considered an important one within the party’s regional structure, with responsibilities that include coordinating grassroots activities, mobilising members and supporting the implementation of party programmes across constituencies.
The organiser also serves as a link between the regional executives and constituency-level structures, helping to coordinate activities and promote effective communication among party members.
Mr. Fynn’s decision to contest the position comes as the NDC prepares for its internal elections to select executives who will manage the party’s affairs and coordinate its political activities in the Ashanti Region.
The Ashanti Region remains an important political battleground for the NDC, making party organisation and grassroots engagement key issues as political parties prepare for the next general elections.
His bid for the regional organiser position is expected to be determined through the party’s internal electoral process, alongside other aspirants seeking positions within the regional executive structure.
