Shamor Movement for Change Foundation launched to drive development, support the needy

The Shamor Movement for Change Foundation has been officially launched at Kokote in the Offinso South Municipality of the Ashanti Region, with a commitment to promoting development and supporting vulnerable and needy people in society.

The foundation, which seeks to contribute to the socio-economic development of communities and improve the welfare of disadvantaged individuals, was launched at a ceremony that brought together people from various walks of life, including traditional leaders, religious leaders, business personalities, community members and other stakeholders.

The founder and leader of the Shamor Movement for Change Foundation, Apostle Dr. Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barima Kese, the Nyankyerenease Nkosuohene and Chief Executive Officer of Shamor Group of Companies, said the foundation was established out of a desire to make a meaningful contribution to society.

He noted that the foundation would focus on initiatives aimed at supporting the needy, empowering young people and contributing to development within communities.

According to him, the foundation would work with relevant stakeholders to identify pressing challenges affecting communities and mobilise resources to address them.

Apostle Dr. Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barima Kese urged individuals, organisations and other development partners to support the foundation’s vision to create opportunities and improve the living conditions of people, particularly the vulnerable.

 

The launch also featured speeches, goodwill messages and other activities, as stakeholders expressed their support for the foundation and its objectives.

The Shamor Movement for Change Foundation is expected to roll out a number of social and development programmes as part of its efforts to promote positive change and improve the well-being of people in society.
