A man believed to be around 40 years old has allegedly been butchered at KO in Kumasi, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
The body of the deceased has since been conveyed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) for preservation and autopsy to help establish the cause of death.

Police have reportedly commenced investigations into the incident as they work to establish the circumstances leading to the alleged killing. However, no arrest has been made in connection with the case as of the time of filing this report.
The incident adds to concerns over recent reports of deaths involving vulnerable persons in the Kumasi area.

Less than a week ago, a toddler was reportedly dumped into a water closet (WC) toilet and was later pronounced dead following police intervention. The circumstances surrounding that incident also drew attention to the need for investigations to establish what happened.
Although it remains unclear whether the two incidents are connected, both cases have raised concerns among residents, who will be looking to the police for answers as investigations continue.
Meanwhile, further details regarding the identity of the deceased, the circumstances leading to the alleged attack and any possible suspects are yet to be established.
