
The newly enskinned chief of Zorwu, Abubakar Kayanga Langriboyu I, has pledged to prioritize development and improve the lives of his subjects in the farming community of approximately 1,000 residents.
The chief, from the Yajape Royal Gate, was enskinned on May 18, 2025, following the demise of the previous chief.
The new chief has outlined plans to implement projects that will benefit the community, aiming to boost growth and prosperity in Zorwu. With a focus on development, he is expected to work tirelessly to improve the lives of his subjects.
Meanwhile, Chief Bommawura Dawuni Tanko, General Secretary of the National Association of Gonjaland Students, has advised the youth to refrain from hard drugs and narcotics.
He emphasized the organization’s commitment to collaborating with traditional rulers and political leaders to eradicate substance abuse in the Savannah region.
With the new chief at the helm, the community is optimistic about experiencing significant growth and development.
Zorwuwura Kanyage is poised to look forward to a brighter future under Chief Abubakar Kayanga Langriboyu I’s leadership.
