
The Nkosuohene of the Nyankyerenease Traditional Council in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region who is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shamor Herbal Centre, Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barimah Kese, has led Abofuo township roads reshaping initiative in the Offinso South Municipality of the Ashanti region.

According to Nana Adu Gyamfi, the reshaping initiative is expected to create easy access for the people of Abofuo and its suburbs.

This initiative came when the MCE for Offinso South, Hon Frank Owusu Amoah, supported the agenda by releasing the DRIP machines to the Abofuo community to develop their inner roads, which forms part of the developmental target by the people.

The Nkosuohene emphasised that the motive behind his support in the reshaping was when chiefs, opinion leaders, assembly members, and the youth came together to seek development for the Abofuo community.

He stressed that when this road-shaping initiative was brought before him, he needed to contribute his quota as a native which made him take it upon himself to sponsor the whole project for the betterment of the community and the people.
“My only wish is to see that the lives of the people are improved which always moves me to give back to the community because derive joy from that,” Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barimah Kese stated.

The Chief Executive Officer of Shamor Herbal Centre, expressed gratitude to the Offinso South MCE for his support towards the initiative by the community.
He further entreated indigenes of Abofuo and its suburbs to contribute their quota to the development of Abofuo,highlighting that he believes other communities will emulate the initiative since we cannot rely solely on government for development.

Hon Antwi Boamponsem, Assemblyman for Dumasua electoral area, and some youth expressed their profound gratitude to Nana Adu Gyamfi for his support towards the road shaping agenda.
He revealed that funding of the project was a major challenge until they spoke to Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barimah Kese who willingly opted to finance the execution of the project.

They further extended their gratitude to Hon. Frank Owusu Amoah, Offinso South MCE for his support by releasing the DRIP machines to them.
