The Municipal Chief Executive for Atwima Nwabiagya South, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah, has taken a significant step towards addressing sanitation challenges in the municipality.

In line with the National Sanitation Day program, Hon. Boamah provided 10 dustbins to aid in waste management, promoting environmental cleanliness and preventing sanitation-related diseases.

The provision of dustbins is expected to enhance waste disposal practices, reducing the risk of disease outbreaks and promoting a cleaner environment.

Hon. Boamah emphasized the importance of collaboration between residents, stakeholders, and the municipal assembly to create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment.

The Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipal Assembly, led by Hon. Boamah, is committed to holding individuals who violate environmental laws accountable.

This effort demonstrates the municipality’s dedication to improving living standards and providing essential services to its residents.

The National Sanitation Day program, revived by President John Mahama, aims to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation nationwide. The initiative emphasizes the importance of community participation and accountability in maintaining a clean environment.

As part of this effort, Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives will be held directly accountable for sanitation in their areas.

By working together, residents and authorities can create a cleaner and healthier environment for all.
