Chairman COKA Urges Female Journalists to Utilize their Platforms to Promote Peace and Unity 

The former Constituency Chairman for Afigya Kwabre South, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Chairman “COKA” has called on female journalists to Utilize their platforms to promote peace and unity in Ghana.

 

He emphasized the crucial role women play in national development and encouraged female journalists to be peace ambassadors.

COKA stressed that conflicts in one part of the country can have ripple effects elsewhere, making it essential for media practitioners to promote peace and unity.

 

Speaking in an engagement with female journalists in Kumasi, he highlighted his efforts to increase women’s representation in appointed positions during his term as Constituency Chairman, demonstrating his commitment to empowering women.

Chairman “COKA” acknowledged the significant role female journalists play in the media landscape and expressed optimism that his interaction with them would serve as motivation and recognition of their work.

 

He further encouraged female journalists who are not members of the Ghana Journalists Association(GJA) to join, citing the benefits of professional associations in shaping their work and providing assistance when needed.
