Nana Adu Gyamfi Enstooled as Aboafuohene of Kwapanin for Outstanding Commitment to Community Development

Nana Adu Gyamfi, widely known as Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barima Kese, has been enstooled as the Aboafuohene of Kwapanin, a suburb of Abofuo in the Offinso South Municipality of the Ashanti Region. The honour recognises his remarkable contributions to community development and his unwavering dedication to improving the livelihoods of people within the area.

Already serving as the Nkosuohene of Nyankyerenease in the Kwadaso Municipality, Nana Adu Gyamfi has built a strong reputation as a development-oriented traditional leader. Beyond his traditional roles, he is also the Chief Executive Officer of Shamor Group of Companies, where he has demonstrated leadership and a commitment to social impact.

His enstoolment as Aboafuohene comes as a testament to his hands-on approach to development, particularly in addressing infrastructure challenges. One of his most notable contributions has been his support for road improvement projects within the community. By providing fuel for DRIP (District Road Improvement Programme) machines and financing their operations, he has played a pivotal role in reshaping roads, significantly improving accessibility and easing transportation difficulties for residents and commuters alike.

The colourful enstoolment ceremony brought together traditional authorities, opinion leaders, and residents, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the people through vibrant drumming, dancing, and customary rites. Presiding over the ceremony was Nana Amoah Gyaame, the Chief of Kwapanin and Offinso Adontenhene, who, together with the community, expressed deep appreciation for Nana Adu Gyamfi’s continuous support and dedication.

In his remarks, Nana Amoah Gyaame commended Nana Adu Gyamfi for his proactive leadership and described his contributions as transformative, noting that such efforts have not only improved infrastructure but also inspired hope and unity within the community.

In his acceptance speech, Nana Adu Gyamfi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Kwapanin for the confidence reposed in him. He reaffirmed his commitment to championing development initiatives and pledged to work collaboratively with traditional leaders, local authorities, and residents to drive sustainable progress.

He emphasised the importance of unity, collective responsibility, and strategic partnerships in achieving long-term development goals, assuring the people that his new role would further strengthen his resolve to serve.

The enstoolment marks a new chapter for Kwapanin, with high expectations that Nana Adu Gyamfi’s leadership will continue to attract development, improve infrastructure, and enhance the overall quality of life in the community.
