Daarul Quran Walhadith holds 3rd Qur’an graduation ceremony at Tinga

Daarul Quran Walhadith (دار القرآن والحديث) has held its 3rd Qur’an Graduation Ceremony at the Tinga Community Centre in the Bole District of the Savannah Region.

The ceremony was organised to celebrate and honour students who have successfully completed their studies in the learning and recitation of the Holy Qur’an.

The event brought together Islamic clerics, parents, teachers, students and community members, and featured Qur’an recitations by the graduating students, words of encouragement and Du’a (prayers) for the graduates and the community.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Adam Ibrahim commended the dedication of the students, teachers and parents for their commitment to promoting Islamic education and the moral upbringing of young people in the Bole District.

He noted that learning the Qur’an goes beyond memorisation and recitation, as it also helps instil discipline, good moral values, respect and God-consciousness in the younger generation.

Parents and community elders who attended the ceremony expressed their joy over the achievement of the graduates and encouraged them to continue living according to the teachings of the Holy Qur’an.

They further urged the graduates to become good role models and contribute positively to the development of their communities.

Daarul Quran Walhadith also appealed to stakeholders, philanthropists and other well-meaning individuals to support Islamic education, particularly in deprived communities across the Savannah Region.

The institution said such support would help provide young people with access to quality Islamic education and promote positive moral development within communities.
