Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barimah Kese, Nyankyerenease Nkosuohene, Extends Helping Hand to 70-Year-Old Man

In a heartwarming display of kindness, Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barimah Kese,Nyankyerenease Nkosuohene and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shamor Herbal Centre, has handed over a self-contained single bedroom to Opanin Adiyea, a 70-year-old resident of Offinso Abofuo in the Ashanti Region.

Opanin Adiyea’s life took a dramatic turn after his old building collapsed, leaving him injured and confined indoors for over 25 years.

According to Maame Faustina Okyem, Opanin Adiyea’s elder sister, he miraculously regained his ability to walk after 25 years without proper medical care due to financial constraints.

During his recovery, Maame Faustina Okyem converted her small kitchen into a makeshift bedroom for her brother, as there was no suitable space for him to sleep.

Nana Adu Gyamfi’s generosity came after visiting Opanin Adiyea’s home and witnessing his struggles firsthand.

The Nkosuohene’s kind gesture has brought immense relief to Opanin Adiyea, who faced significant challenges even after regaining mobility.

“We are grateful to him for having my brother at heart and building this beautiful edifice for him,” Maame Faustina Okyem expressed, adding, “God bless Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barimah Kese for his kind gesture towards my brother.”

Opanin Adiyea, overwhelmed with gratitude, blessed Nana Adu Gyamfi, saying, “God bless him.” This act of kindness showcases Nana Adu Gyamfi’s commitment to improving the lives of those in need within his community.

Ghanawatchonline.com’s research uncovered that Opanin Adiyea has no wife and children making life difficult for him.

His only sister, Faustina Okyem who could help him cater for some of his needs is also aged with over 80-years and cannot do much to cater for him and her grandchildren.

We are appealing to individuals, NGOs, organisations, and others to extend a helping hand to the old man to find relief for him.
