Noth Gonja District: Better dream and xender’s charity foundations donate Mathematical sets to BECE candidates

The Better Dream Foundation Ghana, in collaboration with Xender’s Charity Foundation, has distributed educational materials to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the North Gonja District of the Savannah Region.
The initiative, which benefited 150 candidates, provided mathematical sets and other essential learning materials to support students ahead of this year’s BECE and ease the financial burden on parents and guardians.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony in Daboya, the Executive Director of Better Dream Foundation Ghana, Mr. Mahama Shaibu, said the donation was aimed at ensuring that candidates have the necessary tools to write their examinations with confidence and determination.
The programme received support from Blessed Care Foundation and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ghana.
Also speaking at the event, Ms. Monica Ahanogbe, a class teacher at Daboya Girls Model School, called for increased investment in girl-child education, stressing the importance of empowering young girls through quality education and academic support.
Some beneficiary students expressed appreciation to the organisers for the gesture, noting that the cost of examination materials often places pressure on household finances.
Hon. Buhari Hafiz commended the organisations for their timely intervention and support towards education in the district.
The organisers pledged to continue collaborating with schools and other stakeholders to improve educational opportunities for students in underserved communities across the North Gonja District.
