The Nkosuohene of Nyankyerenease Traditional Council and CEO of Shamor Group of Companies, Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barimah Kese, has made a significant contribution to education in the Nyankyerenease and Akrofrom communities.
His generous donation of 5,000 exercise books to pupils of Nyankyerenease Methodist Cluster of Schools in the Kwadaso Municipality and Akrofrom Basic School also in the Afigya Kwabre South Municipality, is a testament to his commitment to supporting the youth and promoting academic excellence.
Speaking to the media during the distribution of the books, Nana Adu Gyamfi indicated that education is the key to success, and therefore stated that it is important for every Ghanaian to support the course of education in the country.
“Government alone cannot carry the cross of education, and so I entreate philanthropists, individuals, groups to come together to support the government to lift high the country’s education sector,” he added.
The provision of 5,000 exercise books is expected to have a positive impact on the pupils, enabling them to enhance their academic performance.
